Menopause Nutrition

The African Woman's Easy Guide

Course Summary

.Menopause sucks! That's what one friend shared with me when I asked how she was navigating this life change. The hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings had left her downright frustrated, barely recognizing her own body.
She is not alone.  These symptoms are all too familiar for many women navigating this life change. The experience of menopause can be isolating due to the prevailing culture of silence surrounding this topic. As a result, many navigate this transition alone, lacking clarity and reliable guidance. However, times are changing, and we are dismantling the taboo around menopause. As a registered dietitian nutritionist and lifestyle medicine practitioner dedicated to promoting the health of African women, I firmly believe that there is a natural and empowering way to embrace menopause. This involves drawing upon the wisdom of our ancestors and harnessing the nourishing benefits of our traditional foods
