 The "DASH Diet" (Dietary Approaches to Stopping Hypertension) is a way of eating that has been extensively researched and proven to prevent, manage and in some cases reverse high blood pressure by including a wide variety of food and in as little as 2-4 weeks.  The AfroDASH course uses the science of the DASH diet to help people of African descent create a personalised eating pattern/diet that improves high blood pressure and overall health without giving up delicious locally available traditional favourites such as cassava, millet, pumpkin leaves, and plantain or breaking the bank by buy imported foods.

Simply put, this 4 week course teaches people how to create a diet they love, can stick to, can afford and best of all can rely on to improve their health.

Cordialis is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional certified by both the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Equipped with over 25 years of experience in clinical nutrition and food service management, she is a believer of identifying the real causes of illness and treating them through good food and lifestyle choices.
